Kamps Pallets Opens a new pallet production plant in San Antonio, Texas
One of the U.S.’s largest pallet manufacturer Kamps Pallets. has opened a new pallet facility in San Antonio, Texas. The addition of this facility will allow Kamps to increase its recycling and pallet production abilities in the Texas Market. This move follows a serious of aquistions and New Locations Opening up in 2022 and into 2023.
As a result of this new facility, Kamps intends to recycle, repair, and manufacture more than thousands of wooden pallets each month. As the company moves south, the San Antonio facility will provide expanded local support to Kamps’ national and regional customers. Kamps Pallets also has locations in Fort Worth and Dallas. In order to meet the changing needs of its customers, Kamps has invested in both acquisitions and developments.
They will be in direct competition with the other Pallet Industry giant 48 Forty, who also has locations in San Antonio Houston, Irving, Lubbock, and Amarillo, TX.
What does this mean for pallet buyers and sellers in Texas?
After sky high pallet prices in 2022, we continue to see prices drop and stablize across the board. With more and more pallets being flooded into the market buyers can expect cheaper and more affordable solutions. On the other hand sellers and not going to be able to get top dollar like they did in 2022. Prices are dropping and rebates will continue to get lower and lower.
